Importhallen was founded in 2024 by Jemina Asp Zayed with the idea of creating a safe space for third culture and BIPOC artists.

 

Now, Importhallen is the first studio space in Sweden with its diverse focus. Aiming to be an empowering studio collective, striving to embrace fluid identities.

 

Based in Årsta Partihallar this space makes room for around ten professional artists who work with installation, sound, sculpture, performance, textile, film, animation, public art, artistic research and more. There is also a project room for internal and public activities inviting collaborations.
